The garden has been looking more inviting with spring flowers emerging and it's been good to see some residents wrapped up warm and walking outside.
We had the return of singer Steve Holford, who often came in and entertained us before the pandemic, residents very much enjoyed his singing and we look forward to him coming again soon.
Our visiting organist; Chris visited and played a variety of tunes, we had to guess the musical and also sung along to many well-known tunes.
Philip Edwards came and presented a slide show on birds and some flora and fauna of Bolivia. Philip first described the various habitats of the country then went through each distinct area showing us different bird species. Residents found it fascinating to see and to hear about the journeys to reach the various areas. We will hopefully see him again at the end of the summer and hear more of his adventures.
In this month's art and crafts we made felt. It was quite a prolonged process but the results were well worth the effort and the residents made some lovely glasses cases.
Our board games have been continuing, scrabble happening on a regular basis, bingo, exercise and general music afternoons.
