We are so fortunate to have a full time social activities co-ordinator; Louise. During lockdown we have continued an extensive activities programme which extends to those who choose to remain in their own rooms, so everyone has the opportunity to be involved, even if it’s for a nice chat about days gone by.

This week we played a reminiscing game which was called ‘in the cupboard’ which involved two teams, so a bit of competition which everybody seemed to enjoy. We had our quizzes and brain storming and flexercise, although this was on a really hot day, so we just took it easy. The quiz was particularly well attended with everyone joining in after they had their hair done.
In art and craft this week, we decided to do some drawing.  As we had rescued a bird that hit the window earlier on in the week, we decided to draw birds and this was the result. We did some research on the bird we rescued and it was a Garden Warbler, one that we had been hearing singing regularly in the garden.

Not bad when everybody said "I can't draw!"
